DS-57/01 Armchair – A Masterpiece of Form with Maximum Comfort

The DS-57/01 armchair is a shining example of modern design with its streamlined shape. Its truly unique design is reminiscent of the look of a sports car from the 1930s, reflected in the curved lines of the armrests. The wedge-shaped construction of the base creates a pronounced seat slope, allowing you to lean back comfortably. The seating comfort is further enhanced by the padded armrests and the angled backrest.

Elevated Nobility for Any Interior

Not only does the design represent a masterpiece, but the craftsmanship has also been executed with excellence. The upholstery of the DS-57/01 armchair is made from Select leather in the color Maine. This is a lightly pigmented nappa leather that retains its natural appearance. The natural aging process of the leather gives the upholstery an attractive patina. The contours of the armchair are also accentuated with piping. The base of this model is made from beech wood and features a black lacquer finish.

The design of the DS-57/01 armchair was created by designer Franz Romero. The realization of the design, however, was undertaken by the Swiss leather manufacturer de Sede, known for its masterful leather furniture.
