The dreamcatcher is a cult object of the North American Indians. It is believed to improve sleep. The dreamcatcher was hung above the bed or tipi where the person was resting: the good dreams travelled through the net to the sleeping person. The bad dreams remain in the net and are neutralised by the morning sun.
Note: As the dreamcatchers are handmade, each one looks individual and the weave structure differs slightly from the pictures.
