Tension garden furniture series. An "exciting" furniture concept in construction and appearance was conceived by the designer trio Peter Maly, Birgit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss for the German garden furniture manufacturer conmoto: The outer load-bearing cheek and usable surfaces made of high-pressure laminate (HPL) are wedged together with a stabilising web made of solid teak. Thus, traditional wind-and-weather wood meets a modern composite material - grained, natural wood and almost silky matt laminate surfaces meet. Despite the contrast, the material mix of the garden furniture series stands for exceptionally high climatic and mechanical resistance. Tension bench with backrest. The eye-catching teak bridge not only stretches the slightly tilted sides of the garden bench with a wedge in a visually interesting way. It is also responsible for the stability of the garden bench with a second bracing, which is hidden under the wafer-thin but highly stable seat at a height of 43 cm. The seating comfort is rounded off with an optionally available seat and back cushion set - two of these seat cushions are required for the Tension bench with backrest. In addition to this garden bench with backrest, conmoto also offers a "simple" bench without backrest as well as stools or side tables in various sizes for the table of this garden furniture series.
