X-Press Desk. When ergonomics isn't a matter of size, creativity is required: Christian Horner achieves the seemingly impossible for the Austrian manufacturer Bene. The desk comes in compact dimensions, featuring a rounded corner tabletop and a crossed frame. The latter reveals its clever design upon closer inspection: First, the desk can be easily folded away to save space when not in use. Second, the folding mechanism includes a mechanical height adjustment with three levels. Consequently, everyone can individually decide whether they prefer to work at the folding table at a height of 71, 74, or 77 cm. To prevent cables and personal items from falling off during folding and unfolding, a small storage net (41 x 21 cm) is attached to the underside. This net can also hold a power strip for simultaneously powering a laptop and desk lamp. In short, the compact X-Press desk from Bene is not only a space-saving solution for the popular home office, but it also allows growing teenagers to ergonomically complete their schoolwork.
