Alessi Port

The Port basket was designed by Lluis Clotet, who is primarily active in architecture but has also created a number of interesting objects. He was fascinated by the playful crumpling of a tray made from silver paper and reproduced the effect in a successful mini-series of trays and baskets, where the crumpled edge is achieved through a complex cold-pressing technique in a single operation.
