Alessi Dressed

The Dressed placemat was designed by Marcel Wanders. Traditionally, decorations are always applied to the important and visible parts of an object. Wanders, on the other hand, places them in inconspicuous, slightly hidden places, sometimes even in places that are not normally visible. With Wanders, one could therefore speak of introverted decoration. The very name of the Dressed collection suggests a decoration that is designed like a beautiful dress: it should emphasise the contents but not steal the show. The Dressed line includes cutlery, glasses, saucers, a tea and coffee service, a tray and coasters for bottles and glasses. This tray has been painted with epoxy resin. Series: Dressed.
