The Nspire with CAS help you enormously because they can solve complex formulas. I don't know how many PC/Apple apps there are that can do this just as well. You can solve for different variables (e.g. for X), rearrange formulas, etc., etc., in an unnoticeable amount of time. For example, if you are in a further education course that goes a bit further, you can easily check all your step results and better understand where you made your mistakes.

In addition to algebra, the thing can also discuss curves. This means that a curve definition can be displayed graphically directly and you can move points with the touch screen.

Regarding PC vs. Nspire, of course you also have to consider that the calculator is admitted to exams, a PC is not ;)

As you can see, there are reasons why one could still buy such a device.
