Are these compartments suitable for A4 portrait format?

We need the compartments to provide A4 clipboards. The width of the compartments is generous. The height is designed so that approx. 7-8cm of an A4 sheet peeks out at the top. So for thin, loose sheets it could be a problem. But brochures and the like should fit well.
