Excited and full of anticipation, we looked to the future back then! Join us in reminiscing about the first 18 years of life – your childhood and youth! Born in 1978, the Year of the Horse, we experienced the tennis successes of Steffi Graf and Boris Becker, the introduction of five-digit postal codes, and of course, the reunification. In elementary school, we played with Habakuk or Feuerflori, the popular educational puppets. As teenagers, much to our parents' dismay, we thought everything was cool. We screamed for New Kids on the Block and could sing along to the lyrics of Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung. Sloppy looks or branded jeans? Everything was possible.
