Product details
The European Long-Distance Path E5: The route from Lake Constance through the Alps to Verona spans Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, covering a distance of 600 km. This trail is one of the oldest long-distance hiking paths in Europe, following routes that have historically served for crossing the Alps. Diverse landscapes await: the Alpine foothills, the mighty glaciers of the main Alpine ridge, rocky paths and peaks, alpine pastures and lakes, mountain huts and villages, and finally, the Mediterranean flair in Verona. The route leads through Oberstdorf, Kemptener Hut, the Pitztal Valley, the Ötztal Alps (Braunschweiger Hut), the Timmelsjoch, Merano, Bolzano, the Brenta, and through the Monti Lessini to the Arena di Verona. Approximately 30 stages are recommended, totaling 20,000 meters of elevation gain. A hiking map displays the entire route on a single map, making it perfect for navigation on the go and for planning with city maps and accommodation listings. Highlights are shown at a scale of 1:50,000 on tear-resistant and weatherproof paper.
