Authors Melina Lindenblatt and Matthias Göttenauer traveled thousands of kilometers across Sardinia for their guided 4x4 tours. They have compiled their knowledge of some of the most beautiful tracks of varying difficulty levels (from easy to very difficult) in this trackbook, which has been reviewed and expanded with additional tracks for this fourth edition. Almost all of the 70 tours are presented in a roadbook style and guide you through the routes using pictograms. The categorization of the tracks for different vehicle types, from cars to 4x4 vans to fully equipped off-road vehicles, is particularly helpful. The detailed descriptions include images and information about each route, comprehensive details about the conditions and other characteristics of the tracks, as well as a full-page map overview. GPS coordinates facilitate orientation at key locations. The trackbook is explicitly not intended to be another travel guide; it is meant as an additional source of information for exploration tours on the island's most adventurous routes.
