A weekend getaway in a camper van at the Aldi parking lot in Bad Münstereifel could be idyllic, if it weren't for the ghosts haunting Dirk and Eugen. The two still fondly remember their youth, which brought them inseparably together in the Reich Labor Service for the construction of the Führer's headquarters Felsenest. However, these memories are inextricably linked to their experiences of war on the Western Front. A quirky local friend and the visit from the next generation raise critical questions. The past cannot be buried and remains a part of the present and future.
