Der See

Evening after evening, he stands at the window, an almost bodiless silhouette. His neighbor from across the street feels drawn to him. Two young people in the bustling city of Tokyo. An approach begins. Chihiro, an art student, enjoys it when her neighbor Nakajima, a medical student, increasingly spends the night at her place. She feels safe with him. She is the child of a happy but never legalized liaison between a barmaid and a wealthy businessman, has experienced much, and is a woman who thinks with her body. Therefore, she senses even more clearly that Nakajima is struggling with his own body. That he must have gone through something that paralyzes him. One day, he asks her to accompany him: to two friends at a lonely, mysterious lake. There, he seems to be searching for something that could free him from a troubling past.
