The Davenports - Love and Other Incidents

Chicago, 1910. Four young women in search of true love. The Davenports are one of the few Black families who have achieved wealth and status. They live in a mansion adorned with crystal chandeliers, staffed by servants, and host grand parties. Now, Olivia and Helen, the two Davenport daughters, are being introduced to society. Along with maid Amy-Rose and best friend Ruby, they must find their own paths. Despite their differences—from Olivia, who discovers her interest in the political injustices of her time, to Helen, who values automobiles over parties, from maid Amy-Rose, who wants to start her own business, to dreamer Ruby, whose family is financially ruined—they all come together in a dance of unexpected love.
