Teuto-Ems cross-border route

The varied circular route, awarded four out of five stars by the ADFC, takes you through twelve historic towns and villages in the Münsterland, Osnabrück Land, and East Westphalia-Lippe. More than a dozen times on this border-crossing route, you will cross current and historical borders, including political district and municipal boundaries as well as historically significant confessional borders. You will follow old smuggler paths and trade routes along idyllic and low-traffic roads between the Ems and the Teutoburg Forest, ride through diverse cultural landscapes, and discover the culinary delights of the region.
