Information about the series: studio d - Switzerland is aimed at adult learners with no prior knowledge or only limited knowledge of the German language and leads to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference as well as the Zertifikat Deutsch across three volumes. The Swiss edition conveys the standard German spoken in Switzerland and takes into account the specific features in vocabulary and orthography. Course and exercise books The course and exercise books A1 and A2 are divided into twelve units with thematic and grammatical progression. Volume B1 contains ten units. The exercise section follows immediately after each course book unit and concludes with an overview page "What I can do in German."
