Product details

The Harz is the highest mountain range in northern Germany. It is located at the intersection of Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. The region of Southwest Harz lies between the northern Eichsfeld and southern Lower Saxony. With its mild climate, charming small towns, extensive network of trails, and many highlights, it is always worth a visit. The new edition of the Southwest Harz cycling and hiking map presents the region from Osterode to Braunlage and from Gieboldehausen to Bad Sachsa in a detailed scale of 1:25,000, featuring the complete network of cycling and hiking trails. In close collaboration with the Harz Club, the hiking trail network has been newly surveyed and updated. The new tear- and weather-resistant map provides hikers and cyclists with ideal orientation for exploration. The representation of GPS-accurate locations of the stamp points of the Harzer Wandernadel makes it easier to find the stamp points and turns the stamp hunt into a pleasure. An integrated UTM grid allows orientation in the terrain using a GPS device, and a terrain shading visualizes the mountain range.
