The raw materials used for each new batch undergo very strict quality control. Rembrandt soft pastels are based on the purest kaolin types and high concentrations of high-quality pigments, providing the highest lightfastness. These vibrant, pure, soft pastels are available in full and half sticks and are made with high concentrations of top-quality pigments. They offer excellent color delivery and the highest degree of lightfastness. No metal-based pigments (lead, cadmium, and cobalt) are used. The pastels are available in 218 very pure and intense colors and are handcrafted in the Netherlands.
