Ragot Scissors

Specially designed scissors for removing the tails of fish, featuring ergonomic handles. This regulation applies to recreational maritime fishing in all its forms, whether conducted on foot, from the shore, underwater, or from a boat. It is applicable in waters under French sovereignty or jurisdiction. Specimens of the fished species listed in the annex to this regulation must be marked. This marking consists of cutting off the lower part of the tail fin. Affected species include: sea bass, bonito, cod, corb, dentex, dorado, swordfish, lobster, langoustine, coalfish, mackerel, marlin, pagrelli, dragonet, sar, sole, thazard, tuna, and Atlantic sailfish.
