The hiking map Viadukt-Wanderweg is dedicated to the circular hiking trail of the same name, which has been awarded the Quality Trail designation by Wanderbares Deutschland. The starting and ending point of the trail is the historic steam locomotive in Altenbeken. This East Westphalian location is considered a true gem among railway enthusiasts, not least because of its two viaducts. The large viaduct spans the Beke valley with twenty-four stone arches at a height of thirty-five meters. It is regarded as the largest stone railway bridge in Europe. The Paderborn Heights Hiking Trail runs as a panoramic tour around Neuenbeken. Impressive beech forests, the romantic Beketal valley, and fantastic views of Bad Lippspringe, the Senne, and the Teutoburg Forest characterize this path.
