The Alps in spectacular panoramic maps, now as a special edition. Fascinating winter depictions, where the unique topography of the landscape is particularly highlighted by the snow, stand alongside equally detailed summer maps. In the age of Photoshop and GPS, hand-drawn panoramic maps exert a special allure. The images are created based on panoramic photographs, mostly taken by the cartographers themselves from helicopters. Originally intended as a basis for ski maps, these panoramas have evolved into independent works of art that evoke memories of the large map tables in geography class for representatives of the older generation and offer a completely new perspective on the world for the subsequent digital natives.
