The Paperblanks notebook Equinoxe Carmine reproduces the cover of L’office de la Semaine Sainte from 1688, which was adorned in a fanfare style with a handcrafted pattern and gold edging. The fanfare style was particularly popular in the 17th century, requiring a high level of skill from the bookbinder and was used only for extremely important books. Texture: Hardcover. Binding: Thread-sewn with a folded inner pocket. Closure: Clasp. Lined. Dimensions: 130 x 180 mm (Midi). 240 pages.
