Normann Copenhagen Hyg

Hyg Chair Series. This design by Simon Legald for the Danish brand Normann Copenhagen unabashedly derives its abbreviated name from the exuberant ideal of typical Danish comfort culture. The design demonstrates how Hygge can be a piece of seating furniture while still remaining modern: the high and forward-extending seat shell made of plastic supports the pelvis and torso, comfortably enveloping the back while sitting. Normann Copenhagen offers the design not only in an easy-care naked version and alternatively with a padded seat, but also in two different base variants, allowing for various applications in interior design: Hug swivel chair with padded seat. The chair features five wheels on its swivel base and can be conveniently and appropriately adjusted in height with a gas lift. Additionally, the swivel chair has a comfortable padding on the front side of the seat shell.
