Moleskine Cahier

Cahier is Moleskine's notebook featuring a sturdy cover and visible stitching. The lined notebook showcases an appealing design that is perfect for individual drawings and embellishments. It contains 64 pages, with the last 16 being detachable. The paper is acid-free, and the cover includes a wide pocket for loose sheets. The Cahier is sold as a set of three and is available in various colors and sizes. The name originates from the British writer Bruce Chatwin, who preferred the simple black notebooks from a French paper manufacturer in Tours for his work and affectionately called them Moleskin. In 1997, this anonymous notebook, which had been a vessel for sketches and stories of many artists and intellectuals, was revived by a Milanese publisher who chose the literature-inspired name Moleskine.
