Product details

The Ravensburg gold and jewellery dealer Samuel Finger is missing from his winter domicile Valle de Taurito on Gran Canaria. He is considered an extremely serious businessman, an art-loving person and a generous sponsor of sport and culture. The investigations of the Spanish and German authorities come to nothing: no one has any idea where Gold-Finger, as he is called in Ravensburg, could be. His sister Judith, his only relative, desperately turns to Commissioner Gerlinde Lüscher, who is not allowed to intervene in the case. But she gives Judith some advice: 'If there is anyone who can find out where your brother is, it is Ludwig Hirschberger'. He accepts the assignment and discovers that the respectable Ravensburg businessman is not so respectable after all: he sells stolen goods all over the world via Liechtenstein and Las Palmas and in doing so gets too close to the 'honourable society'. Ludwig gets to the bottom of the matter and finds out everything about Samuel Finger and his whereabouts. However, he pays a high price for this.
