The front side is plastic-coated, and the back side is magnetic. Here's how it works: Cut off the labeling tape, write on it, and attach it to an iron-containing surface - done. It can be labeled with non-permanent markers and wiped off after drying. Can be cut to the desired length with regular scissors. The adhesive strength is 42 g/cm². Caution: Not intended as a base for attaching magnets.
