On this map, we represent all ski areas in the Alpine region with a total slope length of at least 25 kilometers. The graphical representation of the ski areas is limited by the outer lifts or slopes. We define a ski area as the entirety of all interconnected slopes and lifts that can be accessed on skis. For example, if a bus is required to reach another lift, we consider it to be two separate ski areas. This leads to a few deviations from public counting methods, such as in the case of Sellaronda. If different ski areas belong to a defined region, such as the Zugspitz Arena, we note this in parentheses behind the names of the areas.
