Kuretake Ink Shimaru Mark ink stick in the size of 2.5 x 9 cm, 1 cm thick, carefully packaged in a red-gold cardboard box. The deep black ink stick allows for many shades of brightness in Asian ink painting and Japanese calligraphy.

Application: Apply a few drops of water to the flat surface of the ink stone, then rub the ink stick in circular motions until the desired consistency is achieved. The ink can then be brought into the ink basin of the ink stone. Repeat this process until the required amount of color is produced. Dry the ink stick with a cloth.

Made in Japan.
