Product details
The practical and compact KOMPASS tour maps are ideal for planning and travelling! The entire route is shown on a map folded in zig-zag format (concertina), making it perfect for your steering wheel or trouser pocket. You can recognise the route at a glance. The map material used is robust and virtually tear and weatherproof. About the route: The approximately 600 km long-distance cycle route is Germany's easternmost cycle route and runs for 465 km along the border with Poland. The route follows the two rivers from the source of the Neisse in Nova Ves (Czech Republic) to where the Oder flows into the Baltic Sea. The route runs along the Neisse through Saxony - with beautiful towns such as Zittau and Görlitz, the monastery of St Marienthal and the famous Fürst Pückler Park, the largest landscape park in Germany. After the mouth of the Oder, the flat river landscape, the stretches on the dyke, the Oderbruch, the moraine hills and small lakes of the Lower Oder Valley and finally the Szczecin Lagoon are enchanting. The cycle route ends in Uckermünde, where the Oder flows into the Baltic Sea.
