Product details
Thuringia - the green heart of Germany - along with Saxony and parts of Saxony-Anhalt, belongs to the Central Germany region. The forest-rich Free State invites extensive hikes from the Southern Harz through the Thuringian Basin, the Thuringian Forest, to the Thuringian Sea. There are 8 national natural landscapes in Thuringia, covering about one-third of the state's area and offering visitors numerous unique nature experiences. The project "Discovering Thuringia," initiated by the Funke Media Group, has documented the most beautiful hiking and excursion destinations with 430 stamp locations. These stamp locations can be explored on over 122 hiking tours throughout Thuringia, with varying numbers of stamps to collect. Follow the Touringen stamps, and you will automatically be on the most beautiful hiking trails in Thuringia. Your efforts in collecting stamps in Thuringia will be rewarded with 12 performance-related badges. The new tear- and weather-resistant "Explorer Map Thuringia" represents the entire Free State with all 430 stamp locations and the corresponding 122 hiking tours. Regions with particularly many stamp locations are additionally shown on detailed maps at a scale of 1:50,000, greatly enhancing clarity. A comprehensive overview of all stamp locations with the corresponding index makes it easier to find and spatially locate the stamps. The map is a must-have for anyone who enjoys nature and wants to hike to the stamp locations in Thuringia. A UTM grid allows for the use of a GPS device, and the integrated terrain shading visualizes the low mountain range.
