The intense and deep colors of the 1670 anniversary inks shine with golden glitter. The Gris Orage ink has a dark hue, speckled with golden sparkles that add depth and expression to this ink. It evokes the power of lightning over the ocean, as merchant ships, including the vessel of the Herbin house, were tossed by the waves.

Herbin 1670 Ink Jacques Herbin 1670 Collection Ink Bottle (50ml). The 1670 collection inks, exclusive to Jacques Herbin, commemorate the inaugural year of the start of the Herbin brand, right in the heart of Paris. It was created first of all to market its sealing wax and later its writing inks. The intense and deep colours of the 1670 anniversary collection are illuminated by gold glitter. The waxing of the cap and the seal on the bottle are done by hand in Jacque Herbin's workshops. Each bottle of ink is boxed and delivered individually. Gris Orage (Stormy Grey) is a dark colour, speckled with golden sparks which give depth and relief to the tint. It recalls the intensity of lightning on the ocean when merchant ships, including Herbin's, were tossed by the waves. The waxing of the cap and the seal on the bottle are done by hand in Jacque Herbin's workshops. Each bottle of ink is boxed and delivered individually.
