Heidi

Little Heidi is taken to her grandfather in the Alps as an orphan. The grumpy old man is initially not very enthusiastic. However, he quickly grows fond of the sunny girl. Unfortunately, happiness does not last long. Soon, Heidi is taken to Frankfurt by her aunt Dete to receive a better education. Additionally, she is to keep company with the sick daughter of the household, Klara. Far from the mountains, Heidi suffers terribly from homesickness. As it becomes increasingly worse, she is allowed to return home. The classic home novel by Johanna Spyri has been lovingly and warmly illustrated by Maja Dusíková. This picture book edition is being published for the first time in Swiss dialect.
