Product details
The cycling map includes popular holiday areas such as Kühlungsborn with the Kühlung, the Wismar Bay with the Hanseatic city of Wismar and the island of Poel, the Hanseatic city of Rostock with the famous Baltic seaside resort of Warnemünde, Bad Doberan with Heiligendamm, Rerik, Boltenhagen, and the Wohlenberger Wiek, Bad Kleinen, Neukloster, Bützow, or the romantic Lower Warnow Valley. More and more people are opting for active recreation and getting on their bikes. Guests and locals can explore nature in a more intense way than usual. Whether along the sea, through the Kühlung, the Ghost Forest, along the Lower Warnow, or following the long-distance cycling routes 'Baltic Sea Cycle Path', 'Berlin - Copenhagen', or 'Schwerin Lake - Warnow Valley' with their natural features – the cycling map has something for everyone. The most charming spots can be cycled on designated bike paths, quiet side roads, and unpaved routes. The constantly expanding network of bike paths also provides great pleasure for cyclists discovering the Mecklenburg Baltic coast. The cycling map, at a scale of 1:75,000, measures 90 x 63 cm. Another quality feature of this new map is that it is printed on water- and tear-resistant, recyclable material. What makes this map special is that the surfaces of the cycling routes are represented in three different quality levels. Bike paths, car-free routes, and cycling routes on public roads and paths are color-coded. Additionally, unavoidable gaps with higher vehicle traffic, unsuitable or closed paths and roads, as well as inclines are marked. All this information is an important aid for tour planning.
