Limited 180-gram vinyl LP reissue of this album by the iconic British band. Phil Collins may have been in the spotlight in the late 1990s, but in 1981 he was honing his pop skills, from his first solo album to this one, the first Genesis album to surpass the sacred million mark in the USA. However, Abacab was not just about the placement of Top 40 singles ("No Reply At All," "Man on the Corner," and the title track); it still showcased some late signs of a trio that had courted the art rock muse that had adorned them in the past ("Who Dunnit," "Dodo," "Keep It Dark"). By the self-titled follow-up in 1983, the hit-making machine Genesis was fully operational in the mid to late 1980s, and the ghost of Peter Gabriel had almost vanished. Then there were really only three left.
