Product details
The noble Berlin Hotel Adlon has a history of more than a hundred years of change. Even before it was opened on Pariser Platz in 1907, protests were raging: the venerable Palais Redern had to give way
to the ambitious plans of Lorenz Adlon and was demolished. The Hotel Adlon, which was built in its place, soon became a showpiece of the city. Kings and emperors, Indian Maharajas and the Russian Tsar, politicians and film stars from all over the world stayed here. A few days after the end of the Second World War, the house burned down completely, but after the reunification of Germany, it was rebuilt by the Fundus Group in the 1990s. Although structurally slightly different than the house before the war, it has the same claim to be a luxury hostel. In the meantime the Adlon belongs to Berlin again like the Brandenburg Gate.
