Audio Video Disco - With their new album, Justice conjures the pop culture triumvirate of the 1980s. The follow-up to their debut released in 2007 will be available on October 25 via Ed Banger Records. When Justice released their album four years ago at the height of the hype surrounding Ed Banger Records and New French House, they quickly became superstars - complete with a major label deal, world tour, and live DVD. This feat has not gone unnoticed by Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspar Augé. It took them three more years to record the follow-up. Audio Video Disco will be released on October 25. The level at which Justice now operates and the expectations tied to it are highlighted by their collaboration with Adidas. A new track titled Civilization was released in April for a campaign by the sportswear manufacturer. Now, the title track of the album follows, brilliantly presented by Ed Banger's chief designer So Me. In doing so, Rosnay and Augé show that they only want to continue in a limited way as before. The Justice sound of 2011 is still opulent, yet less rebellious. Somehow, one gets the impression that Justice could soon become the missing link between Daft Punk and Air.
