The work familiarizes readers with the central elements of the Swiss economic constitution and demonstrates how the legislator has shaped economic administrative law based on preliminary decisions, objectives, and mandates from the constitutional legislator. Since the third edition, on one hand, the new federal constitution has come into effect, and on the other hand, numerous areas of economic administrative law have undergone comprehensive changes, which have been taken into account in this new edition. At the same time, exemplary references to connections with international economic law are provided. Despite its increased scope, the book is still designed as a textbook. Once again, introductory questions have been placed before each paragraph, which can be answered through reading. Practice cases following individual chapters and reading plans encourage further exploration.
