The advantages of the map: GPS file for navigation available for download, tear and weather-resistant, entire route on one map, fits in the handlebar bag, with elevation profile. Additional information: highlights and accommodation directory.
Compass cycling tour maps display the entire route of a long-distance bike path on a single map. This is made possible by the so-called accordion format, which can be unfolded like a concertina. In addition to the route, everything else you need to know about your journey and the surrounding area is included. There are also additional details such as accommodation suggestions, an elevation profile, and highlights along the route. Rain, snow, and hail won't harm the map – the durable, tear and weather-resistant material won’t let you down. For those riding with a smartphone or GPS, the map provides perfect preparation and security. For on-the-go navigation, the route is also available as a downloadable GPX file.
The route: From Munich along the Isar River through Bad Tölz to Lake Achensee. Continuing through the Inn Valley to Innsbruck. The Wipptal can be shortened by train up to Brenner. After that, it’s mostly downhill towards Bolzano, Trento, and Rovereto. Finally, there’s a short ascent, and you’ll arrive at Lake Garda. The route is almost entirely on bike paths with a few exceptions (Steinach-Brenner), which can be bypassed by train. There are two major climbs: up to Lake Achensee and from Innsbruck to Brenner (which can be done by train). Passing by the beautiful Lake Achensee, through Innsbruck with its Golden Roof. Through the stunning towns of South Tyrol: Sterzing, Brixen, and Bolzano. A dreamlike final stretch from Nago to Torbole.
