The Cricut Easy Press Mat provides great support when applying heat transfer vinyl to fabrics. Its thoughtful design eliminates moisture and directs heat directly onto the transfer vinyl. Additionally, it protects your work surface from heat and moisture. Ideally, you should use the mat in conjunction with the Cricut Easypress, but it can also be used with a conventional iron. To achieve satisfactory heat transfer results, there are a few things to keep in mind when working with the mat: always use a mat that is larger than the heating plate of your Easypress, as otherwise, the heat will not be distributed evenly. Also, the mat is one-sided, so be sure to always have the correct side facing up. Furthermore, do not wash the mat; simply wipe it down with a damp cloth when necessary. Do not roll it up for storage.
