Thick, high-quality watercolour paper made from 100% cellulose with a textured surface. To be successful with watercolours, we recommend that you use watercolours in pots with mother-of-pearl pigments, as the colour stands out particularly strongly on the black background. Alternatively, you can also use classic watercolour pots in which you mix the white paint with all the other colours in the palette. The colours appear in pastel shades on the black watercolour paper.

Oil pastels: Use the porous pastel crayons, the soft and greasy oil pastels or the hard wax crayons directly on the watercolour paper. The brightest colours appear strongest on the black paper. Remember to fix the pastel crayons with fixative when you have finished.

If you want to work with light colours on a dark background, this watercolour paper is an excellent choice that can be used in a variety of ways. The black colour of the paper offers decoration possibilities, not only with watercolours, but also with coloured chalks such as pastels and oil pastels.
