Product details
Since 1978, almost continuously in print and well on its way to worldwide fame: Café Lehmitz – as a book, as a hotspot among all milieu pubs in the world, located in Hamburg at the end of the Reeperbahn. The Swedish photographer Anders Petersen has immortalized Café Lehmitz with his tenderly raw photographs. In 1985, Tom Waits chose the famous cover photo "Lilly and Rose" for his album Rain Dogs and now expresses his gratitude for the American edition of the book and the upcoming German reissue with a poetic foreword for his friend Anders Petersen. Tom Waits' words will accompany our book into the world from now on and also give the special edition, which features an original photo of "Lilly and Rose," its unique sound.
