Beethoven, Ludwig van - Piano Sonata No. 31 in A flat major op. 110

Beethoven once reported that he composed his last three piano sonatas (op. 109, 110, 111) in one go between 1820 and 1822. In fact, they form an internally cohesive group. The A-flat major Sonata No. 31 op. 110 is characterized by an elegiac and dreamy mood.
