Bad Sachsa

The state-recognized health resort of Bad Sachsa, with its beautiful town center, numerous cafés and restaurants, and a variety of leisure activities, is located in the South Harz near the prominently visible Ravensberg (approximately 659 m above sea level). The dense network of hiking trails, including circular routes around Bad Sachsa and up to Ravensberg, is presented on the front side of the new tear- and weather-resistant map in a clear scale of 1:10,000 in city map format. On the back, the extended region from Bad Lauterberg to Ellrich, including the Oder Reservoir, is depicted in a clear scale of 1:25,000, featuring the complete network of cycling and hiking trails. This new handy cycling and hiking map is ideal for exploring the area around Bad Sachsa. A UTM grid allows for the use of a GPS receiver, and terrain shading visualizes the low mountain range.
