Product details
A concrete concept of performativity - the "aesthetics of the performative" - is opened up with regard to its relevance for the (fundamental reflection of) theology. The term "performativity" is already
referred to as an "umbrella term", in which the implicit danger resonates that the performative could lose its power due to its encompassing openness for the concise analysis of phenomena. A responsible work with the performative thus requires to perceive the manifold differentiations of the various concepts of performativity and to take into account the specific context of the concept applied in each case. The present work attempts to do justice to this by taking a close look at the "aesthetics of the performative".
