Isn't it the dream of every Christian to learn as much as possible about Jesus' earthly ministry? The Holy Spirit had been promised to humanity to 'teach you all things and remind you of everything.' According to John 16:12-13, Jesus said to the disciples: 'I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.' Such a proclamation, as always, could only be the task of prophecy. Jakob Lorber was allowed to hear the voice of Jesus Christ in his heart. Through this, 'John, the Great Gospel' reveals to us, against the backdrop of Jesus' life, the entire teaching, the whole history of salvation, and the miracle of the encounter between the Divine and the Human in all its depth.
