Do I need the Moutning Kit or is there already a lot included in the basic set?

We didn't buy a mounting kit. The device actually fits well in any trouser or jacket pocket.
In the children's room, the device was simply placed on the dresser. When we were out and about, we always found a place even without a holder (backpack, trouser pocket, jacket pocket, etc.).
We used the device mostly as a reporting system, as the call-back function usually did not lead to the hoped-for success.

Together with the baby monitor there are 2x clip, 2x suction cup, 2x wrist strap, and 2x velcro fastener.
