Tencel has ushered in a new era in fibre technology. Tencel is a cellulose fibre and is obtained from wood in an environmentally friendly process. It combines the advantages of many fibres: Fine like silk, strong like polyester, easy-care like acrylic, cool and pleasant like linen, warm like wool and absorbs significantly more water vapour than cotton. Polyester Polyester is a particularly hard-wearing and elastic fibre - which is why it is particularly suitable for mattress covers and enhances them.
