For the first four months of a newborn's life, the CocoonaBaby - an ergonomic cocoon - will soothe the baby and help them gently adjust to life after birth. Snuggled in the CocoonaBaby, the child regains the closeness experienced during the nine months in the mother's womb. In the CocoonaBaby, the child assumes a comfortable position: semi-fetal with shoulders and spine slightly rounded. This position offers many benefits: it allows the child to touch their face and mouth with their hands, just as they did in the womb; it calms them and alleviates the fear of falling (the sensation of empty space); it reduces acid reflux, food, etc., which can cause stomach disturbances; it minimizes the risks of flat head formation; it improves the quality and duration of sleep, making the baby feel calm and comfortably nestled. The filling is made of very stable ergonomic foam. An adjustable wedge is included for optimal support under the feet; it comes with a white cotton CocoonaBaby cover (machine washable at 30 °C).
