Small children love being read to. They listen intently and with great excitement to the stories. You can almost see how they process the tales in their imaginative world. You may have noticed that young children particularly enjoy stories from everyday life and want to hear them repeatedly. It's no wonder: for small children, the ordinary daily life is still a puzzle filled with many questions that they are eager to solve and understand. In our Lotta books, we don't transport them to fantastic worlds, but instead recount exactly these everyday experiences of toddlers. Our experience shows that these books help little ones understand their own lives, categorize their own experiences, and ask many questions. Through shared storytelling about everyday stories, we playfully expand their world of experiences.
