Stiftung Warentest tested twelve highchairs for children. They allow parents and children to eat at the table at eye level. Only three models are designed to be child-friendly, safe and largely free from harmful substances. The best cost more than 400 euros with accessories. Fortunately, among the good highchairs for children there is also an inexpensive one for less than 100 euros.

Product details
The Enock was specially designed for the family. Its design blends harmoniously into any interior and the high chair can later be used as a play chair or desk chair for your child. It can easily be adapted to the table in the kitchen, dining room or living room. Thanks to the anatomically shaped backrest, the child adopts the correct posture when eating and can sit at the table together with adults. Safety features include a 3-point safety harness that can be easily removed when the highchair is converted into a chair for older children. There is also a safety barrier on the chair for older children who want to sit at a high table with their parents. The solid beech wood and plywood from which the high chair is made offer extreme durability. Comfort is ensured by the moulded backrest, which ensures that the child always sits comfortably, regardless of age. The wide tray for the little ones offers enough space not only for plates or soup, but is also suitable for playing. The seat is wide and deep so that taller and older children can also sit comfortably. It is easy to clean; simply wipe with a damp cloth and then dry with a cloth. Functionality is paramount, as the highchair can be converted for older children up to kindergarten age in no time at all. It can be used from 6 months to 10 years. The 5-stage backrest adjustment adapts to the child and the adjustable footrest increases your child's comfort when eating. The removable safety barrier and harness add to the versatility, while the lightweight design makes the highchair easy to transport.
